My Generation Was Taught To Fail

    ■ As I walk around my school, attempting to glimpse in to what I see the route my peer's will follow as they cross from teen to adult; I am surrounded by what is to be a life filled with anger, sorrow, and satisfaction. I begin to relate them to people who have taken the route my peers now follow. Sadly, they become easier and easier to read. An open book they become, contently accepting the systematic murder of our young minds.
    ■ Some females tend to be easy to figure out, they simply do not their roles in the cycle of life. They don't realize that they as a gender hold the keys to life and death. Instead, they follow who they believe to have the power, the male. The male is to honor the power of the female and give them shelter, protection, and love. Instead, the majority of us as a gender respect another based on the quantity how many we had under our belt, literally. Looking at the female gender, I see they are simply liable to fall victim to the boys they admire. The sad part, they feel as though they must have a man. When in reality, the man is obligated by the laws of nature to protect the woman from anything, even himself! When exposed to what a man is really supposed to do, they are so used to the disrespect by the wicked men over real men. My female peers sadden me simply because I have personally witnessed the trials they face when they choose the routes they have chosen. Never to see what life is really about until it's to late. They live in cramped homes, filled with people, either in a loveless marriage, or bouncing from relationship to relationship. They have children who see their real fathers every day, and never notice him. They are constantly in arguments, fights, due to pinned up anger. A quick death or conviction in the family they have. Sadly, the females of this generation are not seeking a partner in life, but a guide; a title honest men are not willing to take, and a job the wicked abuse.
    ■ Then there are us males. The most males of my generation are very routine. They tend to be taught blatantly, or subconsciously that females are merely sex toys, and your possession. Being that we as a collective gender believe they are possessions, they can be done without. Thus, we use them and toss them aside like mere objects. Now, I include myself in this group not because I live the lifestyle, but because I too am male, I must take responsibility for my group. It is simply our obligations as long as we are male. So, when we as males toss the females aside, their hearts become angrier, and saddened.
    ■ Although, is it our fault if my generation of black males were taught this? We were taught to be a man by our mother. It is near impossible for a woman to teach a boy to be a man! How can a man alone teach a girl to be a woman!? Better yet, based on the paths of my generation, how can a girl teach a boy to be a man?! We know not what we do, only what we come from. If the girls that we have corrupted are able to mature, and do their best to teach the children of the next generation how to be a man, and a woman. The children of next generation would be the rescuer from our eventual demise. If the woman can't realize how powerful they are, and carry the weight of the next generation then the downfall of my people after my generation will continue. We as men have to be taught to protect our family, and given a firm belief in properly structured family. Instead of treating females like dishes we use a few times, and eventually throw away...

It makes me feel good that there is more than a few people with thier eyes still open.... Trust me I understand. Its even harder to rap your mind around it when you travel to other countries and see that this programming is universal, not just back at home in the states.
But its up to people like us to teach and leave our message so when we die, the truth lives.

    good post bruh.

Good post. I'd say rise up. Be different. Strive to be better to other people.

But I know what that's like too - It's like being a drop of bleach in an ocean of sh!t. You aren't able to change anything.

People are content to exist under the popular norms. You/I/we all have to want to be better.

Not true. Everything you do and say has an effect on everything that is said and done around you. You may not be able to see the results of your actions, but there are results.

I don't think I want you to think what I think I think I just want you to think.
