    **Hip Hop In Critical Condition**

It's a cold day today and everybody is gathered in memory of Hip-hop, Kool Herc is seated next to Grandmaster Flash with a sad expression on his face mumbling something along the lines of how no father should ever have to outlive his child. Afrika Bambaataa sits by the casket and places a rose inside before leaving in a hurry, it's a depressing sight for the godfather of Hip-Hop culture.

Suge Knight and P Diddy have put aside their differences for now in order to pay their last respects, they both know this feeling well but it's still a difficult service. Now it's time, the casket is lowered into the ground and is covered over with dirt, Hip-Hop is officially dead, there is no coming back
    .

Soak it all in for a minute and ask yourself, "could this really happen?", the answer is yes, and it's damn close to being a reality, Hip-Hop has gone from the most creative form of expression to a pitiful form of music, it's on life support and the plug will be pulled soon.

A lot of people think that writing lyrics is simply sitting down with a pen and notebook and stringing together words that rhyme, this is wrong. Writing lyrics is a much more involved process that starts from the time you wake up in the morning until you go to bed.

The most important advice i could ever give somebody is "Keep your eyes and ears open, listen to what people say and watch what they do", this is where your lyrics are going to come from, everybody has a story and if you learn to look at the whole picture, you will never run out of material to write about.

Today, people seem to have forgotten that part, its all about spinning rims, jewelry, selling drugs and gunning down enemies, the creativity is gone, maybe this is what Nas meant by "Hip hop is dead". Personally, i don't think that's true just yet, i do however think that Hip hop has one foot in the grave, if we don't inject some creativity back into it, were going to be going to it's funeral soon.

Since when is it ok to call an album good just because it's not as bad as it could have been? the artists will bitch that the net is killing hip hop but their wrong, hip hop is committing suicide and it's already got one wrist slit with today's rappers standing in a pool of it's blood, if we want this music to be around much longer, it's on us to breath life into it because right now, it's nothing but a joke that became unfunny years and years ago.

hip hop as an art form is dead, as a buisness its comatose for most f the half ass rappin fuckers, they say they hate rappers cause they trappers, they "put in work, knawmean" then why are you rapping, hit the streets hard homie and keep killing our own people. I mean "our people" as in a class sence not a racial sence. The poor are dying daily, and its a perpetual thing, do the ends justify the means? Hell fucking no.
if your a rapper, and you from these streets, help these streets. Set up schools, not drug houses, help people get on their feet, not 6 feet you know?
rappers take everything they got for granted saying how the ballin, well the next time you go to your old hood rollin on your 24's with your diamond incrusted grill and your stunna shades in you ferrari, take a look out your window at the crack heads who dont know the meaning of the word ballin' no more because they so strung out, the babbies abandoned by their parents because they too poor to raise them, the kids dealing just to survive. I hope you do this and think about how much your music affects them and their way of life, and then say you hate rap, because rap was once a tool to unite. Now rap is a way to boast about what you have and thats why someone will download your shit before they buy it. Tell me how many poor muthafuckas like myself actually want to hear about what you got, and how good your living when i cant pay my rent and i have nothing nice. so fuck you bling bling and your gucci shit and you grill and you 1,000 dollar hat, cunt i cant pay 20 dollars for a hat. and now i fuckin hate rap

"THEY GOT MONEY FOR WARS BUT CAN'T FEED THE POOR" Take an other look at that... "THEY GOT MONEY FOR WARS BUT CAN'T FEED THE POOR"

Originaly quoted from pac but the reson behind this is enslavement for sure, aint no political richman/power caring about the poor right? Yall should look deeper into this.

lol I hear ya homey, instead of spending 2 million on a hoopty with a playstation and a slushie machine in it, how about putting some money into the hood you claim to be from. Thats part of the reason all these rappers cant go back to there hoods man, they always saying im from here, im a big dog there, yet truth is, soon as they pockets get filled up, they move to the hills with guards and big gates, and wont pay there mamas hospital bills.
