Wrestling Fake or Real? (WWE, TNA e.t.c.)

well i watch it and although the outcome is planned the action is pretty real.. if anyone saw armageddon saw what happened to joey mercury's face and shit so ya the action is real

THE SHOW IS SCRIPTED.

Okay, it's like a play. But more violent. Let me explain.

I do drama. I was a Navy Seal in my last play. We had a script of what to say, and basic things like where to stand, but the acting was up to us.
You take it and put a personal spin on it.

It's like that for wrestling. They tell them what to say, and a basic outline of what happens e.g. Ref is knocked out, Manager comes in w/ chair, hits person B, and OH, WHAT'S THIS? THE REF CAME BACK JUST IN TIME TO FIND PERSON B IN A PIN! PERSON A IS THE CHAMPION!!!!!

OK? It's just acting. Some people choose to go all psycho and cut themselves when they're supposed to bleed(this happened a lot in the 90s), or a blood capsule is used. They have a ROLE. How they ACT IT is up to them.
Mine was a tough guy Navy Seal. I decided how to really exaggerate that.
Theirs are good guy who saves the hot chick, or the psycho that was in a bad crash/burned/had his kufi smacked off, or the dude that's mad cause I'm stylin on him, but it is ACTING. They take that stereotype and exaggerate it.

^it means that dude has a gun on him, usually larger than a nine millimeter

example: a 38 cal a 45 cal a 40 cal

i watch it but even tho i no it's fake wrestlings mostly about this entertainment like its enjoyable to watch and i find it really interesting .. even though its fake and all and some parts are violent and real like TLC matches and ish .. but its enjoyable its something to enjoy !

theres a new wrestling show on mtv.called wrestling soceity x or somethin..it looks way different and more real but im still kinda questioning if its fake or not cuz tha moves r way different than wat u wulde c on wwe but some of tha moves look painful and its juss too violent like explosives,barbwires,nails,pirahna tanks etc.can someone check if its real?

I've got some very strong convictions on pro wrestling and the use of the word "fake". When people hear the word fake, then take that as, "Nothing hurts, everything is meticulously planned, none of the strikes actually connect, and there's nothing athletic about it."

Scripted, "worked"... either one is okay in my book ("worked" moreso than "scripted"). But there's certain things that aren't going to feel good, no matter how much you train. For example...

And I'll tell you this much- both guys are legit.

Necro Butcher wasn't feelin' too good after the suplex, and Eddie Kingston wasn't feelin' too good after getting smashed upside the head repeatedly. Nothing fake about those punches.

Or, wait... you must have just ignored the videos of a dude getting dropped headfirst on the ring steps and another video of a dude getting knocked the fuck out with legit punches.

Wrestling is fixed not fake, when u jump off a 20 foot cage onto a table wit another dude on it, or get dropped from the top rope u cant fake that, for sure the punches and kicks are fake....and the matches are fixed (booked in wrestling terms) but i know some amatuer wrestlers and they prolly take more hurt than any other athlete i know...

its all fake u jus gotta look it up n shii. i wuz watchin tv n there wuz a documentary on how iss all done n shii. im not sayin dey don get hurt cuz we all kno that u can get hurt if u don do ya shii righ. but jus do ya research.
