Mims...I actually got put on to his shit because a fellow member on this fourm did a remix track with the artist. And i was totally diggin tha guys flow thinking that he was an up and coming artist that rolled with tha dude off of this fourm.

I was told who he was and then the very next day his video for "This is why im hot" Came on Tv. I watched, a pretty hot video i then got my hands on the Mims Jr Reid and Baby Cham remix and it was a wrap. Im convinced he is a decent emcee

Im waiting for his truck load of mixtapes he will come with and see where he goes. Aparently he has a major over there at Capital Records by doing himself what the lables are paying him to allow them to do for him.

He himself managed to put "This is Why Im Hot" On the streets and did those numbers without a lable...

However the biggest part of his buzz is everyone including himself saying he is the future of NY. NY is on his back. First and formost lets get this one thing clear

NY is still on the east coast in the same spot it has always been since its conception it aint gone no place and it doesn't need none of you rappers to bring it no place. All the residents and fans of NY rap need is you NY rappers to make good music. Point blank and period

We don't need you guys out here saying your better this is why and you got this and you got that this is why you run NY fuck that shit.

Make a platinum selling album that contains some substance and do it over and over again for a decade straight then say your bringin NY to a new level..dont get some weekly mixtape success and get all stupid wit your personal dickriding...

Mims..well he is a better talent then most new people out...what do you think??

shit im not sure if hes gona b up next or todays trash.most of tha songs i heard from him has a real nice beat and a pretty gude hook.but he juss sounds like one of those guys that got a deal and were lucky enuf for bet to play it.so im not sure if hes gona b up next or juss trash

mims is alright hes not nothin new though, sounds like another new yorker who dont know where he really at, he todays trash to me, but to all the people who are into that garbage shit hes alright at it.
