Thats a synopsis I stole from IMDB...but after seeing the movie...Im not exactly sure if that was the plot...or if there was one. But is it worth seeing?

It was a pretty good movie id say.
it was damn near 3 hours long though, but seein megan fox fine ass was enough for me lol.

The movie was good action wise. But there were a bunch of loop holes, some I didn't notice until I read an article on Yahoo about it.

I know little about the Transformers universe as well but I know what makes a good film and this movie had nothing that makes a good film. Thats not to say I didn't enjoy it, although....I kinda didn't enjoy it. I knew upon deciding to go see this movie that I wouldn't like it and that it would be a horrible film. I went to go see it only because of the action and CGI.

I am a movie junky and I see alot of movies so I know what makes a movie great and what makes a movie horrid, Transformers had all the ingredients of a retarded film, it was simply eye-candy. Nothing more, propbably much less if I watch it again. It had a weak script, horrible plot, horrendous acting, sloppy pacing, a MULTITUDE of plot holes, offensive characters, retarded premise, and it totally ignored many of the rules of the films universe that was set up in the first movie.

I could go on and on and on about how bad the movie is but as I said, I knew it was going to be a bad movie when I went to go see it, so why complain. I wanted action, I got action. So I'll just end my rant by saying Transformers is an unintelligent movie.

I'll be looking forward to District 9 to satisfy everything I look for in a sci-fi film, and then after that I'll be looking towards James Cameron's Avatar.

I really disagree with you. transformers movies are based off comics and cartoons...as far as I saw it was a movie that lived up to the comic and toons. transformers 2 was something other than the same ol shit they wanted to do something different and that's what they did. it looked great. I did think the acting in the first one was better then this time around. but it wasn't distracting me cause it wasn't horrible.. I'd give it a 7/10 mostly for like you said I candy. like megan fox

GI Joe will be horrendous, guaranteed. Just look who is in the movie first of all, Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans are your lead characters....smh Top notch acting right there.

They are very different movies. The fact that they are both sci-fi action movies makes are the only similarities. That's like saying Juno and 40 year old Virgin look the same. They are both Comedies. Thats like saying Alien and I-Robot look the same. They fit in the same genre but they have completely different stories, in fact one is an original story, they are marketed to different audiences, different story telling methods. One is about giant robots that transform and fight each other. The other is about an alien colony that is struggling to gain equality on earth. Yeah, same movie huh... One is meant for you to watch with your brain off and the other is meant to watch with it on...

Sorry if I offended you with my remarks but Transformers was really a horrible excuse for a movie and movies like that and GI Joe are only made to sell toys

No I'm not contradicting myself. Does 2 films of the same genre mean they are the same types of film? No. In that case then Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds are the same movie. (Sarcasm) It was no contradiction. Pointing out the only similarity (the genre) then pointing out the many differences doesn't equal contradiction.
