One of the best, if not the best, releases of 2006. Who Killed It is probably my favorite track on the album, that and Black Republicans.

i dont think its number 1 of 06 but its definitley a classic...and im glad he sticks to the "hiphop is dead" theme....this is one of his best

fav tracks:

money over bullshit,
carry on tradition,
hiphop is dead,
black republican,
who killed it (but only to hear tha message never to bump lol) ,
not going back...kinda...i mean i like da track but iono if i like what he sayin in da track,
still dreaming,
hold down tha block,
blunt ashes,
let there be light,
hustlers,
hope

basically every track is tight and this is a classic to me...a great overall message in tha album...beats were all sick...this to me is what an album should b like

for me this album is a 10/10, 5 mic, XXL, classic, whatever you wanna call it. even so, its still only my third favorite nas album

my homeboy who posts on this forum occasionally said he didnt like the album, he even liked nastradamus better. my argument is that nas's style may have changed up a little, but hes still an amazing lyricist and his beat selection was way better than streets disciple

oh yeah and while were on the subject nas is a great example of the difference between "maturing as an artist" and selling out. the black eyed peas claim they have just grown as artists, when they used to put out music like this:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/q766p3

please download that and give it a listen, its from when BEP was hip hop

Black Republicans and Blunt Ashes are the highlights, they need a video for Blunt Ashes, that would defiantly increase sales.

I thought it wuz a pretty good album but not a classic and not close to being as good as most his other albums. I was expecting better from him since Jay Z had just dropped around the same time. Overall, it wuz better than most the other stuff that came out in '06.
