Default Chino XL - Poisen pain - 24-01-2007, 07:08 AM

lyrical messiah, that title represent this album completely. this man has been slept on for over 15 years and now people have to stand up and listen.

Listen to "Skin", his story telling capabilities on this track are almost film worthy. The ending is one of the best in rap and makes the whole song even better (whitch it most definately didnt need, already a great song with a tight beat)

Another shinning example of his lyrical abbilities is the new classic "Wordsmith", medaphores, word play, ryme pattern is best i have heard since pun did "fast money" or pac did "If i die tonight", when i heard "wrote anthems from antonyms/ harmoneys from homanyms/ created cinema from synonyms/ livid to eliminate that ellustrious life you livin in/wrote retoricals in rythems/ i could paralyse with a parable/ make rymes outa religion/ crusify you with a prefix/ or suffocate you with a suffix/ wrote lectures so infectuous its known to infect the listeners/ who dissin us/ you punks you wait/ i puntuate/ my karma the comma that put you in a coma" i had to rewind that shit.

His choice of beats also bear a striking resemblince to the last great puerto rican rapper, the whole album is filled with no-name large talent producers, save for a few tracks.

This album as a whole is one of the BEST OF '07, real talk. No one is doing better work than this man right now. Could have had a few more songs and maybe only 1 interlude instead of 4, but even if you download this, you should (if you can, cause i cant find it in my home town)buy it as well and support this lyrical giant who is bringing back "Real" Hip-Hop.

This album is complete with straight fire tracks like Lyrical Mesiah on which Chino spits "give me a time machine ill bottle up crack in jesus manger/ no stranger to the fact rappers cant stand me" he knows that todays bubble gum rap is making money and yet he just cant sell his soul. I commend him for keepin it real. Thanks for real lyrical hip-hop chino.

someone uploaded this album in the dl section so if you wanna hear it for yourself its there, so get it, and then buy it because you will definately like it.
