this is one of those rare albums that i love front to back which is weird cause i never liked commons flow before n now im like whoa doggie that shit sounded soo hot ne ways leme break it down

intro - this has nice production on it long ass intro but its cool lyrically its on point his flow destroys the beat too n he speakin the truth

overall: 8/10

The Corner - ye this is my joint even though kanye stole a melody from another song n just looped it slapped some drums n a voice sample on it n called it a beat i dont care its still my joint common is the truth damn he speaks that real shit

overall: 9/10

Go - Common again gets kanye to produce this one n he has him do the hook but this is the way to do a love track i love his imagry on this although it to me seems to be one of the weaker tracks on the cd

overall: 7/10

Faithful - ye this is the kanye beats i like this track got me thinking common is on point with those thought provoking lyrics this one was liek whoa to me

i think he talkin about hip hop when he says her on this track not the first time hes done it

ne ways i love this track he has john legend and bilal on it

Testify - another kanye joint i love this song damn that sample gets me everytime "Before You Lock My Love Away" Common has always been a good story teller and he takes us on a journey with this one telling us about a woman whos husband or boyfriend is going to be locked up damn good imagry talking about what the woman sees

Love Is - this track is cool even though its not my stiege throughout this track Common tells us what love is going through different guy's meaning of love

Chi City - ye this is a banger here this is my joint i dont care who else trys to claim it this will forever be my joint....damn Common killed this one "im raw hustlers get ya baking soda/"

The Food - I love this joint again the whole theme is slow motion better then no motion he goes through peoples struggles with money n how the industry makes it so people see they need to live materialistic

Real People - this one is cool but again im not really feeling it i think the production fucks up the song although Common still does his thing n speaks that shit he does

They Say - I love this beat but i dont feel john legend on it its basically a he said she said song i love this line "the richest ----- aint necessarily the ----- with the most dough"

It's Your World - Ye this is my type of beat to make that real shit on Common did it real well bilal did his thing too oh shit common says "my mom gave birth to me but she never really had me/"

Analysis: this album is on point for production it might not be for everyone i enjoyed it front to back Common says some shit people aint sayin no more i hope this sells alot cause people should listen to albums like this more often

Album Rating: 9/10 it may seem a little high but i felt it deserved it

damn good review, im loving this cd right now i gotta say my favs are chi city n faithful n of course you got food n corners, but this is a very dope cd n im definitely coppin dis when it drops, its still over a month away but i think they'll end up pushin dis up a couple weeks

yeah i like this cd, pretty good. XXL said it was classic, but its definantly not on par with Illmatic or All Eyez On Me. still, it was good
