50 Cent Curtis And Kanye West Graduation

Well i was very imressed by the Curtis album. I was so impressed because it is not like a 50 Cent album i have ever herd and i can really tell that he tried to create something different from anything he has ever recorded as far as any album or mixtape. The thing i didn't like about it was the track All of Me with Mary. Im really not feeling Mary's hook on that and i feel as tho she was screaming and well i think they should have scrapt that song

My Gun Go off - straight hood shit reminded me of What up Gangsta this is the rugged 50 we all fell in love with when he first came out his intensity was straight cranked up 100% on this shit and i was really feeling tha beat and him lyrically on this shit makes you wanna buck somethin

187 - Another hood favorite im feelin this track it is worth the listen

I Still Kill Ft Akon - Woah this shit was fire like i repeated this shit mad times listening to the album the beat sounds like a dre type beat tho it wasn't produced by dre i was reallllllly liking akon on this but isn't it ironic that Akon was on 50's album and Tpain is on Kanye album? But tha i still kill shit is fire mos def a track that should be bumped

Touch the Sky Ft Tony Yeyo - Tony really impressed me with his verse i like tha hook and 50 did his thing on it a nice way to end your album

of course the singles I get money and And Aye Technology are fire

His track Fire Ft pussy cat doll Nicole and Young buck has a fire beat and an uptempo club type feel

Man down his a straight hood joint but my fave joint on this album is Peepshow with Eminem not only is da beat hot its a comical track and i really like it basically 50 has a cover to cover hot album and after hearing it Im looking foward to the second week sells because tho i knew Kanye would outsell 50 i honestly don't believe Kanye came with a better product i believe Kanye's album didn't have as many hot tracks

Graduation you can see the difference in Kanye's production and i remeber him saying he wouldn't have any other rappers on his album yet he renigged when he put lil wayne on barry bonds. I honestly don't like lil wayne much and he proved to me exactly why when i herd that wack ass verse he did on Barry bonds

Of course Kanye's track Good Life Ft T-pain is easily one of my faves on it its smooth and i like it lyrically im also really feeling T-pain on it

Another stand out track is Champion fave line being "Why i need a stylist when i shop so much i can speak italian" just further showing his cocky attitude

Good morning is a hot track, Big Brother seems more like a Jay-Z Dickride more then what he tried to make it seem like it was when he exsplained it on. That track about drunk hot girls althought slightly comical i don't really like it and i feel as tho that is a scrap record Homecoming is a hot record i like how he is discribing Chi-town as if it was a female and his first love really feeling that and when he quotes other rappers he makes it work for him and i respect him for really paying respect to other artist and not being a plain biting ass dickrider Flashing lights its an aii record lyrically kanye mos def did his thing on this album but i do not believe his album is better then 50's only because if your not a true Kanye Fan your not going to like this album however you don't have to be a 50 cent fan to enjoy his album and 50 got himself a cover to cover Kanye has one of those certain tracks stick out where and tha others are just there i gotta say overall spite tha album sells 50 has a better product and i believe second week sells will reflect that

I'll admit 50 does release some good tracks, but I just dont feel him, Im from california and I do enjoy that hard gangsta shit and hood classics, but that music will never be the same like it was in the 90's and 50 and G-unit and the Game cant bring back music the way it used to be.

Im not all about all that gay ass Hyphy/Get Stupid/Go Dumb shit, and all these new stupid ass dances coming out these days. I do feel that music from artists such as Kanye, Mos Def, Common, Talib, and some Lupe Fiasco is where its at now. They realse some great sounding music that kids now in days dont care for cause they are to busy Ghost Ridin the Whip/Cranking Dat/Snaping they Fingers and looking like dumbasses.

So in my opinion Kanye had a better album then 50 not because I hate 50 but because lyrically I feel Kanyes album had a better sound with keeping up with the times.

As for the bet on who will sell more, if 50 does take thelead on the second week, 50 said "Lets see who sells more on Sept. 11" and Kanye took the lead first day.

I agree with maybe 50% what you said. My favs on Curtis were Ayo Technology, I get Money, and Gun go Off. Those ones stood out to me.

I really wanted to be blown away by 50's album, but I wasn't, and I think that's in the end why I didn't get it. That and because he was being so cocky about how he was going to sell. In the future I might pick it up because I think it was better than the Massacre, but right now my money is better spent on other things. I disagree that it was good all the way through (I think that's what you were talking about when you said cover to cover EF).

To be fair though, I was also disappointed in Kanye's album. Good Life is a hot track and I also liked stronger. Can't Tell Me Nothing was alright. But not a very solid album to me, it also didn't blow me away. When it came down to which one I would buy, I did go with the Kanye tape, mostly because I thought BOTH of his two previous efforts were hot and well worth a buy where I only like 50's Get Rich Or Die Trying. That coupled with 50's talk and bragging lead me to buy the Kanye tape.

Though I'm glad that this new 50 CD is better than the last and not worse. I REALLY want to see him bring back a strong G Unit, but also calm down his head a bit, mature a bit and not have to be the "bully of rap".

champion and cant tell me nothin are great records but kanye's album sounds like he felt he could put anything out 50's album he was more aware that he needed to do his numbers with this album or he wasn't gonna be around long enough to drop his 4th solo album i can tell by his production and tha way tha album sounds to ear that he was trying to make an album full of bangas
