Why Dont My Samples Loop Right???

Alright... I've tried the whole snipping out your sample in cool edit then running it in fruity loops. But everytime I try, it NEVER loops right:swearing: !!! Am I doing something wrong??? It will be on beat for like the first bar then the metronome starts getting off beat wit da sample. Or even if it stays steady, it still doesnt match up right enough for the drums to match. I need help. THX!!!

did you set the tempo right?? right click at the top and click on tap

sometimes be a bitch tho...

what i do is play the song and have claps going(in fl) and adjust the tempo around the actual song then when the claps mesh thats the tempo of tha song
then when you sample the acapella you already know the tempo and it will work perferct!:thumbup1:

Thanks man. I tried all of that and it loops good...the claps and everything matches, but mid bar kicks and stuff just dont go completely with tha sample. Im thinkin maybe I need to work with the decimal points on the tempo.

make sure you got the tempo right, but even after that it may fall off a lil or alot. seeing that your probably sampling oldschool tracks which feature live instruments (they dont play perfectly on beat) I usually wind up gettin the tempo, trying it out, and then going back and chopping the sh** out of it to make all the original kicks & snares fall into place. I find acid pro very usefull in doing this

Yea thats what i think imma end up doing cause I am samplin live instruments. Plus i gotta eq these damn drums outta the sample cause thats whats messin me up as well.
