Im big on smooth soul music... the older the better

I like stuff that would be a challenge. I usually go for the parts less noticeable so somebody wont know where its from soon as you play it. I like sampling video games, and films. Most of the best composers are found in them. I been doing that for a few years i been on the same sites ppl are just now finding out lol. I like music from Japan, Africa, Brazil pretty much all over. I have a nice collection of funk, soul, blues, soft rock, and jazz but I try to stay outta the box most of the time.

I will sample anythin if it sounds good.

i dont like to sample. ive done it but im just not a sample artist. instead i find one shot hits in a song to create somethin original. i more or less try to chop specific instruments and drums in a song and play around with the pitch and tweek em rather then find parts to loop and sample. i tip my hat to producers like kanye and 9th wonder and just blaze who can really take a sample and flip it so u dont even know what it was originally
