What do you consider, to be your best talent?

is it producing beats, playing an instrument, mixing beats, writing, rapping?

mine, is probably rapping, but I been making more money making beats

probably making beats, but im only decent. i wish i could play an instrument

just pick one up and fuck with it a little bit at a time, I never was able to play a piano, but in the process of learning how to make good beats, I got myself a korg radius/vocoder/synth, and I can now keystyle (make up songs on a keyboard) like a regular ray charles man

i hate when people say hip hop production involves no talent

takes a lot of skill and effort, you have to have a very good ear, you also have to know what will sound good and what will not. mixing isnt exactly the simplest thing either.

in my opinion learning how to make a beat is prolly harder than learning an instrument like guitar or some shit.

I hear that shit all the time man,,, hip hop production is probably one of the most complicated arrangments of rhythm and sounds out there.

seems like people that dont listen to hiphop feel they need to shit on it, dont it?

hiphop is hard, rock is like moving one hand up and down all the time and sometimes move the other hand (guitar)

the only thing good bout other songs r the drums :D

or the piano, if its got a good piano riff im diggin it, guitars arent as easy as just moving your hands tho chrome, if you think so, you have never picked up a guitar lol, shit if it was that easy, id be a guitar master.

I can switch between hip-hop/j-hip-hop,pop/j-pop, R&B/j-r&B, trance, dance, techno and rock. (all digital music mainly)

My personal development and growth knowlege and understanding as well.

yo if you can play guitar, thats talent, i give you props. i hate alot of rock, but i cant say that they're talentless.

i consider an mpc an instrument. i consider turntables an instrument.

id like to see some of these hatin fucks try to get good at scratchin if its so easy, see if they can fuck with q-bert or the x-ecutioners
