Type of VST on this?

oh and also if you can take a listen to "My Only Thing I Left" / "This Is How It Starts" .. can you tell me what vst/sounds he used for his gangster "whistle" type of sound in the back , his synths, his pianos.. n so fourth.. everythings sexy :]

It sounds like hes using reason, if he is then its only refills and soundfonts unless he rewired. The whistle is called a lead. I cant really give you name for it because people who make the presets will name them anything, just look for anything that includes the word lead in what ever vst's you use. If you know anything about oscillators and legato you can just make you own. If you use FL then just grab a random synth and click channel then go into the misc tab and click on Porta and mono. Leads are best to use if you have a keyboard because one key cancels out the other. I would just get reason. The factory bank comes with has all those sounds included. He abused the hell out of that synth and those strings almost in all his beats but hes very good for his age.

yeah im using fl as well, but he clearly says that he uses fruity loops as well and thanks for the responses -- i know he regularly posts @ warbeats.. you know some kids just dont seem to reply these days ( ahem cockyness ahem ) :D
