OK, so I'm torn. The MPD24, Trigger Finger, or padKONTROL??
I love the amount of sliders and knobs on the TF, the fact the the MPD is an Akai product, and the XY+software bundled on the padKONTROL. I'm sort of leaning toward the padKONTROL but wouldn't mind some input...

mpd16 by akai...$100...usb connection....you need nothing else but fl or reason :D dont waste too much money on a drum controller...get a midi keyboard controller first.

ay man ya cant diss the casios yall (I started on one, 61 key),, now I got a Korg Radius, but I bought if off old beats I made with my casio, my akai MPD 16 (which trust me is just as good, or better (less latency issues) then the MPD 24 (minus the trigger finger)

for real though, I seen dudes selling akai mpd 16's on ebay for as low as 60 bucks on buy it now (good feedback 2)

hope that helps ya bro
