soundfont

oke what's the name for a rack that can play soundfont's.

if u get what i mean, i think u hook up ur keyboard from midi out to the midi in to the rack and then u can play soundfonts.

but i don't know the name so...

What program are you using for producing? if its FL then you should be able 2 open the soundfonts without anything external and use the piano roll 2 set them up, just do it like your adding another sampler chanel and select the fruity soundfont player, i dont know if that help you at all but thats the only way i use soundfonts.

soundfont is not a external sound module
its software but you can buy or download soundmodule racks that have those sounds

ull have to hook it up through midi or USB
then open up the files in soundfont and play it on ur midi controller

most programs can use Sound fonts, Reason can open them in the NNXT , fruity loops has a soundfont player... etc....
