Default Reason Song Files Too Big - 13-10-2008, 09:51 PM
Any reason users here come across this? I am new to reason but when i exported my first project i used the standard settings and the file came out to be 44mb, thats rediculous! anybody know how to compress the song files in reason?

Thats because you need to use another program to convert it into mp3. It saves as wav which is uncompressed, the quality is better on wav and its better to have it that way if your gonna make changes in the song far as mastering goes. Mp3 files are compressed and the sound quality is lower, most ppl don't notice tho. So just get a program that converts wav files to mp3.
