    Default Reason 3 Help

    Hey guys
don't know if this is the right section to post it, but if it's not, i apologize

i've got a question about the NN-XT and NN19 samplers.

Whenever i load a sample, say it's a 5 second sound byte of a singer, is there a way to configure the sampler in a way in which when i play different keys, the sample only changes key and not tempo...is it possible for the length of the sample to stay the same, but only the pitch of the sample can be affected by the pertaining key pressed.

if i didn't state my question clear enough, i'm sorry, but hopefully someone can help me out with this
    cheers guys
    and thanks for the time!

    b

itz because your loading a wav or mp3 file. load it into cool edit or something like that then use a time stretch. your going to be able to keep the tempo the same using something like that. and if u are using reason to load samples, do it in the nn19. the nnxt is more complicated
