It Hurts To Say It But A Lil Wayne Acapella Album Probably Would Out Sell A Dr. Dre Instrumental Album Just Because Most People Really Think Wayne Is The "Best Rappa Alive"
Which I Would Have To Disagree With Greatly...He Isnt Even The Best Rappa In The South...I Would Rather Listen To Dre Rap LOL...But On The Real A Lil Wayne Verse On Its Best Day Can Neva Compare To A Dr. Dre Beat On Its Worst Day!!!

On The Other Topic, 1st Let Me Just Say I Would Neva Buy A Verse From Any Rapper (Bigg Name Or No Name) But More And More Rappers Are Sellin Verses Thinking They Can Hustle A Young Unknown Producer To Think It Could Get Him Placements On A Mixtape Or CD...All Im Gonna Say Is If U Gonna Do It, Get Full Rights To The Rappers Vocal(Which Im 100% Sure They Will Not Give U) So With That Said It Would Not B Worth It...

Have Love And Respect For Your Art, Make Music For U, Not For Money...
(I Added That For All The People Sellin There Beats On SoundClick For $20 Bills.....YOUR FUCKING THE GAME UP)

ahhh if theres one thing that pisses me off its ignorant artists who aint willing to put into music. Ive had a few people try charge me for a verse on my beat dispite the fact they asked me for the beat????

Infact the most recent and prehaps most annoying thing ive ever heard from a rapper

"to be honest i get free beats all the time, i dont pay for them."

for 1. all the tunes on his myspace were whack and un-mixed
for 2. im hardly charging timbaland prices
for 3. him on my beat is a joint piece, i dont just give the beat and thats it... i help the artist make a hit and get it out.. on itunes n shit.. they make money.

fuck all these whack ass producers saturating the market, free beats are good to give out.. but have some pride in what you do! the artist wouldnt just go give you a free copy of his album.... coz most artists are ignorant to how money is made from music.

sorry for this long ass rant but these rappers jus grind my gears (lool at family guy), but back to my original point.... why the fuck would i pay you to rap your weak ass raps on my beat, when i could get someone twice as good who would pay me?

Once I went to an artist page from chi-town on myspace that had a twista kinda flow. I thought homie was nice. Then I saw on his blog post that he wants producers to pay him to rap on their beats. I'm like wow people can be really greedy. Here u got producers willing to give out beats to help both parties but it be the dickheads actin like they hov or somethin. fuck that...

if theyre trying to charge you then theyre obviously conceited and they think that when they take a shit it wont stink.

(aint trynna insult anyone but i'm just bein real)

You misunderstand their purpose. JUST LIKE YOU ARE SELLING BEATS. THEY ARE SELLING THEIR VOICE.

WHAT DO YOU SELL BEATS FOR? SO THEY CAN RECORD OVER IT AND PUT IT ON THEIR ALBUM.

WHAT DO THEY SELL VOCALS FOR? So you can LACE A HOT ASS BEAT OF YOUR OWN and maybe put it on YOUR ALBUM as a PRODUCER instead of as a RAPPER.

But yea I feel you if you sayin "I'll only pay em if they move units!" Because otherwise theres no point in obtaining that voice.

You wanna buy a voice that will make your tracks SELL. And perhaps a voice that you could pitch to a major record label to sign you on so they can put out your album if its good enough.

ummmmmm....are you retarded? a producer making an album? no, thats not how things work.....producers make beats for rappers, who make albums....if a rapper is trying to sell his vocals without making an album, they are wack and just trying to hustle new comers to production...do you honestly think that rappers try to charge Timbo, or Dre, or any other producer in the industry? HELL NO....

simple and plain....producers get paid from rappers, rappers get paid from record label, record label gets paid from people buying the music....

Theres some truth in that, but I don't see anything wrong with a rapper sellin his/her voice. What's wrong is these wack rappers comin up to me and saying ill rap on your beat for $$.

It works in a supply and demand kinda way. If a producer wants to get their name out there, they might pay a well known rapper to use their beats, kinda like sponsor. Same for if a rapper wants to use a producers beats.

So it's the people who are falling for these scams that are fuckin up the idustry, not the people givin their shit away for free. Cuz givin beats away for free just means you aint in it for the money and you just want people to hear your shit, nothin wrong with that.

Absolutely, i do it for the luv of it, if tha rite people hear me, thats all good too. But i never push my shit on anyone. & i most definitely aint gonna pay no one for they lyrics. I like the "true to tha game" part of producing. Where people get to hear yo work. Free, diversified, like a big melting pot.

You really think D12 gives 2 shits about myspace. 98% of artists don't even manage their own pages, they have people to do it for them. Proof was probably the only exception.
