u can mix and master in the FL mixer just have u some crisp studio headphones that let you hear everything and some nice studio moniters. any hardware ive ever used i mix down in pro tools but my ultimate test for how good ur mix sounds is play it in the car. if it sounds good in your car system without sounding distorted then there it is. lastly sometimes i like to play final tracks on like a cheap lil portable stereo or cd player. just to make sure that even when its playin on something without heavy bass u can still hear all ur kicks and snares and whatnot. same on ur computer speakers

Get that waves mercury bundle, get Stienberg Wavelab and get the E-book on mixing and mastering in waves and you should be good! ~Real Talk~

The waves and nomad tube bundles is what I use to mix my tracks. I also use the m-audio ozone isotope for mastereing. No lie for an affordable price the m-audio is pretty decent, but of course there's ways to get around that lol.
