Default midi keyboard? - 06-07-2009, 02:14 AM
ok, so i have my friend's keyboard..he has a Casio CTK-491, and it has a MIDI Out and In, and i was wondering if i bought a MIDI to USB converter, would i be able to play sounds from the computer or would i only be able to play the sounds from the piano?

ex. like if i wanted to play a kick from FL, would it let me play it on the keyboard?

Yes it would if you but midi cables an an interface that supports midi and via usb it to your computer..it would work..

im using m audio unos and it works perfectly for me bro..lol..its better to use it on an xp system..not vista.
