when you click on the instrument button that has the little green light next to it, a menu will pop up and then you look for a knob that says out, and then you can adjust it from there.

channel settings

go to INS

turn ATT (attack) all the way down

turn HOLD all the way up

& DEC / SUS / REL use to fade out, if you want the pad to stop an a dime turn all three down

from there you use the pad in the piano roll ( rightclick the instrument go to piano roll ) and stretch the little green box as far as you want the pad to play for ( half a bar, 20 bars , doesnt matter)

practice makes perfect
