how to plug keyboard to pc ( plz plz help)

hallo to all the boys here i need a big help iam trying to plug my keyboard to the pc so i can play the fl samples on it plz can somebody helps me .. can somebody clear that in a easy way ( if msn would be better ) i need that help plzz boys :001_wub:..

here is my key picture

and thats the midi out cabel that i bought

Midi - Kabel (IN OUT THRU) mit Game Port bei eBay Audio, Kabel Adapter, Computer (endet 24.08.07 23:45:00 MESZ)

Q . 1- does i need more things like some programs to install ?
2 - there are 2 jacks in the midi cabel and just one of them fit in the pc is that right ?
3. how can i play the fl samples on my key should i edit with the setting in my fl program ?
4. when i pluged the midi cabel from the key to the pc nothing happend i just saw that another sound system is in my settings ? should i make anything about it

Just to get somethin clear, u have a Game Port at the back of ur PC right?
U dont need any other programs to install, unless they came with the keyboard.
If u connected everythin properly, FL should automatically recognize the keyboard and allow u to use it.

U should of purchased a MIDI interface like this:



It connects to USB port.

and the key dont have any usp system
i just pluged the midi cabel in the pc

as u see i just pluged one of the 2 cabels in my pc the other one i couldnt find a place for it ( the black cabel i mean and the blue one is for my pc tv )

This is a schematic for a MIDI Adapter designed to work with the Sound Blaster joystick (ie, game) port. It should also work with any card having a compatible joystick port.

no thats incase you have an external sound card or something like it read the entire page

and the second pic show you where da gameport is located on ur pc

yeah and the midi cabel is pluged in inside it

did you try the add/remove hardware action on your system controlpanel?

thats how you install hardware if by some chance its not detected...

i already did it but still dint work

ok i readed it . its an easy way .after wut i readed i think i must put the midi out in the key and midi in cabel in midi out in the key but the problem is my key have just one plug for the midi thing and its called midi out

From ur MIDI OUT on ur keyboard, plug it into the MIDI IN.

midi in but where in the pc i dont have such a thing called midi in i pluged it in the gameport
