How much you charge 4 beats ?

if u sellin beats, wut u guys charge? like ur best beat, not the ones pac might rap on & leave it in a vault sumwhere... & dont lie if u never sold a beat, keep it real

i normally let mine slide for $100 a pop... depends on the amount of work that went into it... right now im doin an exclusive for my man acewrita in fredericksburg... gonna be at least $150

Well I had two beats that sold for 1000 each, but that was buying a package through a studio I'm doing work with so I ended up with 250$ per beat after the money had been seperated out.

To be honest, I hold on to the ones that I think are really fire, because I don't want any wack muthafuckas ruining my beat.

$500 to 2K per beat at the moment. I have worked on low budget as well selling tracks in the $50 to $200 range.

shit id price $50-100 if i was actually good at producing.

I usually do it for free in hopes that the favor comes around when I need vocalists.

In some situations, yes. My particular situation, I do beats for many people. I gave out so many free beats, but now becuase of word of mouth and the niceness of my materials I'm getting money offers for my productions.

i was selling to some local producers/small label, $50 when they just wanted a simple chop and loop, or up to $150 for a beat. They wouldnt pay any more for a new underground producer. if its a garenteed fire beat i'll lease nonexclusively for $30-50 just to get it heard in hopes someone with a budget will hear and want it.

I feel you on that, pimpin. Some people might think I'm stupid for saying this, but this is why I don't sell my beats...I do it strictly as a hobby. Most rappers talk about the same shit and I work too damn hard on them just for some wanna be thug muhfucka to just put some bullshit on it and fuck the whole damn thing up. If I think an MC or singer is hot enough, I'd rather just give it to him/her (but maintain all rights of course)
