Just record the source volume very low, and if you have a pre amp that helps 10 times more with volume and distortion.
As for software, most new multi track daws can import video, and you just export as wav, mp3 etc. Cubase and nuendo its very easy cuz they give you the option to just import the audio from the video. I remember using acid, sonar, and audition a few times as well. I recommend a daw because alot of cheap video apps give you the option to save just the audio but you cant cut accurately. Its good to have a video converter too tho because some formats convert better and the daws are picky on the file types sometimes. |
he's right. here's another version on how to do it.
if you have the dvd, then go here.
Doom9.net - The Definitive DVD Backup Resource
and rip the dvd to your hard drive.
Useful Software
then import the video into:
steinberg nuendo
sony vegas
adobe premiere pro
and they will divide the video and audio into separate tracks for you.
