I made a suggestion about making a sub forum under home made beats called flip this. all you do is post up any song that sounds like a good sample and people make a beat out of the sample and post thier outcome and get feedback. What do you guys think about that?

I like that idea. They have some threads like this at Future Producers where someone will post up a sample or two and let people go at it.

Sounds like a fun idea to me, but that's just my two cents. I'll support the idea for sure.

yea i fucks wit dat idea might be a good way for producers and artists to collab too i kno if u been producing for 2 months or 20 years u can always learn more and get ideas from others cp should definitely get dat idea crackin asap

I like the idea. Only thing is it kinda kills the whole art of finding it yourself and will piss somebody off who worked hard on a beat, just because everyone knows what sample it is and it it gets played out fast. Also some people will try to chop the same samples to sound like yours and do something like switch the drums up. Samples are often better when the listener doesn't know what its originally from. Its a good and bad thing I could benefit from it.
