How Do You Create An Accapella? I Heard You Can Do It Through Pro Tools But Im Not Sure How. Anybody Got Any Advice On How To Create Accapellas?

step1. take a microphone and connect it to ur computer
step2. open some software to record
step3. start saying shit in the microphone

and voila a accapella is created

HAHAHA!

Man, you can't "create" accapellas. Best way somebody described it to me is like this:

Let's say you got a bowl of chicken noodle soup. It's got carrots, noodles, and of course, chicken. Ok, so.......can you make a strainer that strains out JUST the noodles?

No, that shit ain't happening. You can't go in and separate anything like that. Once waves are put together, they turn into just one big-ass wave. You can tone some shit down in the wave to make it less noticeable. But that will still affect the overall wave. You can never remove a piece of a wave completely while still keeping it intact like it originally was.

adobe audition is a program that i know will work for making DIY acapellas... you have to invert the song and then center pan left and then and then goto channel mixer and cjoose the effect both left and that should remove most of the instr.

I'm gonna have to try that sometime been looking for some old school outkaste and cypress hill acapellas, but haven't really found any yet and nice thunder cats avatar dats pimp that show was illin back in the day

that is true, but you can also use the inversion method.
