Get the books out man.
I dont think u can make beats with it, so I would leave Acid, and start with FL.
Are u trying to reduce the bass with the EQ?

Give some more specific questions.

NO!!!!!!

dont get him started with FL, cause its hard to leave FL once you learn on it

trust me, you can make beats on acid, ive been making beats and i only use acid. and i didnt mean to thank you

heres some screenshots to help you out

those control the eq, click the one on the track you want to control the eq of

click and drag the numbers to eq in the equalizer. i usually use #1 for the low end (kinda obvious though). you can move it to any frequency, then alter the gain too

Lol I thanked u back.
I didn't know that u could make beats with Acid, seriously.
I knew people use it for makin mash ups, remixes n shit, but not for beats.
If not on FL, then he could start with Cubase, Sonar, Reason blah blah.

Yea I think in 5.0 or 6.0 they made it so you could use midi which means the ability to use soft synths as well. I used acid when I first started and I have 6.0 now but theres alot of features it doesn't have so I never really messed with it for beats just mixing then I stopped using it lol. You can get the job done with it tho.

i dont think youd want to change the bpm in the middle of the song, unless you were trying to blend in another track? im not exactly sure what you're asking.

well, if the tracks are already finished, just add them in and dont beatmap them. acid will automatically have it set at 120 bpm, but just lay the tracks out as one shots, it will not change their bpm's

unless youre trying to intentionally change the bpm, cause i might have to think about that one, if thats the case let me know
