Default Has anyone expirienced this in FL? - 21-11-2007, 10:35 PM

Has anyone had like there sound crack and pop in FL im working on a beat and when i play it back it just cracks and pops and im trynn to eq it and mute sounds and play sounds individulally and i can pick off what it is it, the soudns sound fine byt ehre own but togtehre they pop and crack anybody know how to fix this?

Yeah it happens to me after I load 2 many effects.
The effects are eating ur CPU, thats why it crackles and pops.
If u have a good soundcard, it reduces the pops and crackles, but u need a really good CPU to load many effects.

You need more RAM & Hard DRive space.........but also don't worry about it because when youy render it the track wont have any pops of cracks in it.

yea i also noticed that when i render it goes away i just dont like it when im making a beat i keep hearing it it gets annoying i rather not hear it at all

All M-Audio cards come with their own ASIO driver.
It's best to use the 1 from ur manufacturer.

Ya that used to happend to meYou need to go to Options-audio options, and move the buffer bar around till it sounds right. I have mine around 3072 smaples (69ms)

yea if i were u id raise the buffer size. the reaction time will be slower but it will eliminate the overruns you get.
