Fruity Loops (What is it with the volume?)

Ok, the volume in fruity loops is real soft but when i put the mixer volume or the master volume higher sounds get fucked up just like you would listen to yo walkman and tune the volume like bass all scratchy and other sounds all noisy and all that. Is there anyhow through that and still remain quality while having the same loudness as regular volumes?

if u up it it has to be amped what distortis it most of time maybe add a compressor it should help.

Ok, and normal volume is that like both the mixer and the master on 125% or only the master?

Like if you take an offical released song and play it and then 10 other official ones they all the same volume but then the fruity loops was softer eh, now in fruity loops ya got the master volume and the mixers master volume, do i got to turn both up to gain regular volume or just the main master?

all the volume's need to be 100% not over 100% cuz then it will sound distorted

and use the master one that is in the mixer window

yea i got cha mane, thanks for that. But that was my main point if i put both on 100 its less loud than regular music

hmmm yea hes right most of the time it will sound distorted when u bring it over 100% on the main volume i would jus turn the instraments up individually and if its still to low turn them up on the mixer by cliccin on the channel and double cliccing the part where you see the FX.

I dint test it yet after exporting to mp3, i will now. But i think i got it. I turned only the main master volume to 125% and kept the mixers master (FX) to 95%, now nothing is distorted.

only turn up tha mixer volume if u have a channel in one of the mixer slots...other wise only turn up the master volume on the main screen...and export all your lows seperate and then turn those down b/c when u export out of fl the bass or lows will always come out distorted...and dont fuck with exporting mp3s ynless its for tha net...other then that...whats already been said...compression, but at the end of the day...when u turn your track up the only thing that should ditort is your lows and real high highs

To higher the volume, don't mess with any of the fruity loop plugins or with the main master volume, get a mastering plugin like Izotope Ozone 3 and use that to bring the level of the beat up to 0DB.
