    Both

But rewire is over rated. its basically making reason a virtual instrument. its not even all that. i can use a vst in FL that has the same quality as reason. but whatever.

FL Studio is alot more user friendly and makes complicated tasks not so complicated. however the default samples and most(their are exeptions) of their vsts are crappy. But with the right "aftermarket" sounds and vsts FL is a monster!

Reason is great out of the box. It has the best stock sounds and reason is used more than FL in the real music industry. Full sail doesnt teach fl studio does it, no they teach reason. But reason is really complicated.
I only use it through rewire which kinda does suck w/ fl studio.

    overall its preference.
    learn both
and if you really serious about producing
look into logic and pro tools
mac can generate wav files a bazillion times
    faster than windows,
due to its linux based kernel
    : )

As said before, its not the tools but the maker!

Reason seems more professional to users but it really isn't, some1 who knows what they're doin in FL can make something just as professional.

I voted FL because of it's capabilities, I rewire Reason because i have around 10 gigs of refills, but on another note i have anywhere from 50-60 gigs of vsti's if you include the libraries.

Now i will say this, if Reason supported vst's I would probably use it more as a workstation, instead of just for it's sounds.

Its not what you use, but how yo use it... I started making beats with reason, so thats what I'm confortable with... 8 months of house arrest will do that for ya.. lol I aint gonna lie though if you aint computer literate you'll have a hard time, and because of that most will say FL. FL, got the Vsts but I make my own sounds in reason

Try to rewire them both into Presonus Studio One.

Big up for Reason.I use it by 5 years and it's going better and better.Helps a lot for producing dub-step tracks.

Although I've always worked with Reason, I'd really like to have FL on my Mac.

I've used both in the past and I have to go with FL Studio.
The workflow is so much easier, and you can get the ideas from your head and onto the screen in minutes.
There's not a real huge learning curve, and the time wasted setting up instruments in Reason really turned me away.

The Reason UI was so messy and clunky I couldn't really get into my workflow. I even tried using ReWire with FL and although the sounds were good, it was alot of work when I could easily get the same quality sounds through VSTs in FL Studio with just a few clicks.

Overall both have pros and cons, so to each his own!

Fruityloops or cubase...........fl studio is just a controller.......like any one used the sounds that comes with it.. no you get your own sounds........and your own vsti.

Reason limits you. They just wiil not embrace vsti. what a dumb company.

    Hey guys,

I just registered but have been lurking the forums for quite a while now.

I’ve stumbled upon this urban beat production software and was wondering if any of you guys are using it or have tried this before? It looks pretty good and I think a buddy of mine used to produce some of his beats on YouTube.
