What are the specifications of your computer? What VST programs are you running in FL Studio when it slows down. What version of FL Studio are you using? Are you using any SoundFont files?

what you mean by slow? like the audio doesn't process at the time it shows the note hit? If so check your audio pref setup.

How much memory do you have? You shouldn't be having issues with that processor speed. Hell, I can run Hypersonic 2, Albino, and all kinds of shit on a Pentium III. :\

It's probably a memory issue. If you have one gigabyte or less, you are probably going to have some issues with loading times. Additionally, if you are using Vista, you will probably experience problems unless you have over two gigabytes of RAM.

You might also want to do a virus scan to see if there is anything that may be hogging your CPU resources.

Yeah is a memory problem, if your sound starts sounding choppy or skipping is your RAM.

Go to control panel and double click on system. It should open up the system properties window, and show your right there in the general tab.

It should show you the exact version of windows your using, the cpu you have along with the ram.
