So I'm tryna get into producing, and I'm pretty good with looping for a sample but my little brother who is a producer told me I need to learn how to chop up a sample and I've been tryna use the FL Slicer and I got the beat chopped the way I want it but when I set it up in the sequencer, I'll press play and the as the beat progresses through the chops, the pitch of the chops slow down. Is it supposed to do that ?? Or did I fuck up somewhere ?? | |

Alright, depending on what you want to do with the samples, this is what you need to do:
To increase pitch, find the slider in the FL Slicer window that has a "PS" under it. Adjust accordingly.
To speed your pitched samples up, adjust the slider to the right of the "PS" slider, marked "TS". Adjust this accordingly as well. Usually, depending on the track being created, you can speed up your samples by moving the time slider down.
If you have any questions, I could upload a picture to show you exactly what I mean or I could upload a FL source file for you to examine.

Why don't you upload your source files and I'll check it out for you. Probably a simple fix but sometimes the FL Slicer is glitchy.

you can use edison to chop samples, thats what I do I don't f*** with the slicer
to ge into edison add ya sample into a channel, click the channel then right click the pic of the wav form and click edit....then you can use the auto chop tool or chop every bit manually if thats what it takes....the zoom feature is nice too
