Drum roll

i've been playiong with the rolling drums lately, and its getting very popular lately; if u dont knowwhat i mean then listen to Lil'Jon, i think he popularized it;
anyways i try to do it but it just doesnt sound right;
can anyone create this roll in a fl studio file and send it to me.

mess with the velocity of each hit... meaning the volume. not all hit should be the same volume.... also in fl there are humanizing presets that help the roll sound better....

actually i think there is a snare roll sample in the fl stock sounds ill check it out

yeah there is just load a snare sound then open the piano roll, and "open score" and there are 3 drum rolls (in fl5)

yeah, those stock rolls arnt very good.... keep workin you will get it..... try offsetting some of the hits, so they are just a tad off the grid... that with velocity adjusting will give it a humanize or live sound....
