Being big on sampling myself, you have to realize that before you get to opening Audition and cutting the sample up you have to grown an ear for the samples. It takes much listening, research, and time in the record shop before you get there. It's a good video, but don't forget the step formentioned in my post.

Knowing whats gonna loop right and how it sounds if you add another sample how it will lead into another.

Sampling stuff thats not easily recognizable sometimes people do it on purpose to show off a bit.

Also sampling stuff thats not annoyin or just stupid and doesnt make any sense to sample.

Ill let In-dent reply thats just wut i go by.
