Dirty South Deep Vocals

Hey guys
Just wondering if anyone has experimented with getting that "rick ross type" sound out of vocals. you can hear examples of it on hustlin or born n raised by dj khaled. It's that deep deep sound where the voice is brought down in pitch alot
just wondering if there are any tricks or such to get it to sound just right besides bringin the pitch wayyyy down low.

jus like u said...bring own tha pitch. mess around with time stretching so it dont slow down tha vocals tho

there is audio time stretching software out there.. just search google.. or PM me and ill send u mine, its easy and free

well the trick is to down the pitch but not to much , cuz if u overdo it , it will sound weird

and also sometimes what you are hearing is chopped and screwed vocals

if you are using fruity loops click on the lil piano icon on the sampler and start fuckin wit tha pitch
