    Default Copyrighting a sampled beat

I have a serious question??? We are getting our beats copyrighted and we have this one Sampled Banging Beat Sampled music is by Bootsy Collins - I'd Rather Be With You.....

I was wondering, is it okay to get this song copyrighted even though we haven't gotten any sample clearance yet by Bootsy Collins?? If this beat gets licensed exclusively later on in some months or years....

When you copyright the beat there should be a bit on the form where you can specify you're using pre-existing works. The copyright would then only apply to the elements that you have added.

If you are planning on copyrighting a lot of beats at once then this beat shouldn't be in that pack, it'll need to be done on its own.
