Default clearing sample info - 19-02-2008, 06:16 AM

ok , for all those beatmakers who use samples .. what do you know about clearing them ? because i mean , i know you have to have permission , or you have to get them cleared or pay royalties to original artist of the song .. but i mean , how would you go about doing that ? does anyone have any info on that ? and if you do .. hit me up please .. trying to sell some music .

You would need to contact the person/company who owns the rights, and see with them.
But u shouldn't be doin that shit. It's up to the rapper u sell the beat to and their label to clear it.
If it's a major record sample, ur gonna be throwin big money at em.
