sup ppl


i am looking for a brass sound (maybe a hypersonic2 preset or whatever) or soundfont.

the sound im looking for is this beat here:

I'm on a mac with pro tools and reason....can anybody tell me some good brass i could use or what to look for or maybe a hook up ;) any help would be greatly appreciated

The Paper Dreams beat sounds like a Drumma Boy beat.

brass needs layers like a real band has at least 2-3 horn players to get that fuller richer sound, so layer your brass.

my dude made that brass, so you might be able to take a few other brass sounds & come up with somethin similar

layer ya brass...some times i layer 2 brass in hypersonic 1 then ill add a brass and synth from wave station vst

I made a thread for question like this

brass section = trumpet, trumbone, saxophone

thats a pop brass section, 3 layers total, one layer of each. Classical brass is another story.

i usually layer my brass in hypersonic also!!! my favorite combo is ultimate brass secion, bright brass section, and real brass section 2 tight or loose. for some combos i might even but some synth brass in there but combining the sounds in hypersonic gives a nice full brass orchestral feel to it

My brass that I layer together is Trumpet Swell + Brass Ensemble, I think thats what its called. Naw, but a real good VST for brass, is called DSK Brass, google it, thats what I use, its real good.
