A lil advice......

I need a lil softwafe advice from all ma producers out there. Ight me n ma boi jus formed a production duo and need to know what software we need to record straight from his keyboard and straight from ma mpc because FL aint cuttin. Oh and I also wanna use the sounds from the keyboard not the software when i record.

Any suggestions anyone?

There are plenty programs you can use, just about any DAW can do what you lookin for. But check out SONAR, MOTU DP, Pro Tools, Cubase just to name a few. But you gotta have midi on your sound card and or have usb on the keyboard and mpc. ~Real Talk~

what he said and you'll need hardware too. either the mbox by protools, m-audio's cheaper hardware or some other company's hardware like e-mu.

PRO TOOLS is definitely the way i would go. u can midi ur keyboard into ur mpc and use ur mpc as ur sequencer and track out right into pro tools. that way when u sell beats u can sell the whole pro tools session thats really how they do it professionally. thats how i did it back in my hardware days
