    Here's the sample:

(Took a couple different parts all from within the first 25 seconds)

So what I did was microchopped the sample so I could move single bell notes individually then added a bunch of distortion and then went to town:

Threw in some acapellas that I scratched in myself using FL Scratcher (it's actually a really cool little tool once you really figure out how to use it to it's best potential); figure this could be like a dope intro track for an artists like first mixtape/album mainly cause on the hook I left a space in between "Who Is It?" and "The Coolest Mother Fucker On The Globe" with the intention that the artist could say their own name in the space so it's like introducing themselves to the listener -- just an idea I had while making it to give a nice sort of niche spin to the track

Let me know if you dig the vibes/flip cause I'm really happy what I was able to turn that sample into on this one

Overall i liked the chilled vibe of this track and i can see your vision for the beat I think you did well with the sample, switching it up the way you did.. i wasnt feeling the FL scratcher too much, but i did like what it added to the track.. so i guess it kinda worked lol nice work

this is certainly old skool hip hop no doubt. I like it. Chill as chill can be. Thumbs up on the mix and sample.

That's a great sample. You chopped it quite nice as well. Drums in your beat is also cool. About scratches, they don't sound good to me, maybe you should try to hook up with some dj who does scratches/cuts professionally. Most of them would probably want to get paid, but great cut/scratches can make a really good job on track.

unfortunately I tried to find a DJ 4-5 months ago (maybe longer actually) on forums and on YouTube; probably contacted like 10-12 guys and didn't get any responses but I could probably offer them a bit more nowadays so perhaps I'll try to find some someone dope -- been getting mixed reviews on the scratches (more people not diggin 'em then were) so I definitely gotta step 'em up with some real scratches but I think I'm just gonna give the scratching a rest for now

props on the feed though man, good to hear you could dig the chops man

props given to everyone else too (gotta spread for Robert Garner); way more concerned with the mix/chops/beat than the scratches, since I probably won't dabble with it that much, so dope to hear you guys can vibe with the chillness!
