Energetic 8-Bit Hip-Hop (NES Sample) [My Entry For TAGG's Beat Contest]

My entry for TAGGs producer contest:




50% of the judging is said to be on creativity so I wanted to do something a bit different so I looked to some NES soundtracks and found this dope energetic sample!

this is creative i think its pretty fresh brings me back to the old cartridge days nice drop good luck with that contest let us kno how it turned out

this beat is pretty good all together. It is real creative i dont really care for the nes sample tho until you switch it. the second nes sample is hard. overall good work bra

this is kinda dope...drums are def fresh... i like the stop drops...musta been annoying to make...

The contest is supposedly based 50% on quality and 50% on creativity so hopefully they'll dig the this in a creative aspect with the 8bit energy!

thanks man, yeah, I think you're talking about the hook where that other 8bit synth comes in -- love how that thing sounds, just has a dope tonality to it

they're actually too hard; I just clone the track (say the snare track for instance) then just cut out whichever one I don't want for that section

O yea!....i like that bassline mane!....drums are solid....like the hook...for some reason the verse was kinda repettive but then i love how you added drops...effects and then in the 2nd verse you switched it up a bit....was def feeling that...good work mane....this shyt tough!

The bass on this is good! I like the whole feel of this beat, it would be interesting to hear someone rap over this. Amazing work!
