Neither one is better. They are just different.

Reason is all-inclusive, it comes with all the synths and everything and all you can really add is the sound files.

Where as FL studio is more reliant on VSTi programs and what not...

you could always rewire both into a host like cubase or ableton. then youd have some real firepower.

FL Studio is more realistic to what actually goes on in a studio while Reason just throws an ass of synth racks in ur face.

the fact is fruity loops ...is a user friendly programe and easy to do anyting in it ....while at the same time can be a very good programe when put in the hands of some1 who knows hes way around it

and then reason is more of a proffesional and realistic sound programe , and you cant really make good stuff with it unless you know your way around it , and also reason is the best out there ....( well thats wat i think) it comes fully packed ...wide selection of stuff and sounds ..

but a combination of both will give you mind blowing results

Reason ISNT More Professional... It All Depends On The User & The Sounds Ur Gettin From Either... But As Stock, Like From Scratch... I Would Say Reason Had The Better Sounds, Its Jus Alot More Difficult To Figure Out & Use, Where-As Fruity Is Just In Your Face And Simple... But Soon As U Put All The Soundfonts & VSTs Into Fruity, Then Its Another Level.

i like fl studio cause how easy it is to use and once u figure it out it has so much potential with the right vst, sound kits u can make very good music. i also used reason but didnt have the patients for it, i can make beats alot faster with flstudio then with reason, but i also realy like the sounds that reason has they are so much better then flstudio.
this question has been asked so many times on so many diff sites and what i noticed is that there is no right answer cause not every producer is the same, some work better with one program then with the other, so i think the question should be which program is most preferd,

I have Reason 4.0 and FL 8 XXL and from what I can tell, once you learn the features Reason has FL beat. The stock sounds in Reason are alot better than what you get with FL. Of course you can always rewire them and use the reason sounds with FL, but I still think you can sequence and mix better with Reason.

both...
and i say both because i have both...
and i would never make the same beat on either one of em...
i guess what im sayin is having both programs keeps me making different types of music...

but...
i do use FL more...i like the fact it runs vsts...and i SLIGHTLY like the sequencer more...

both great programs....i guess its just what u prefer...

and like everyone else is saying...u can rewire them together....
