Hey,

this month has been a busy month, first i'll list some changes/features added then onto the interesting stuff :P

1. Soundclick profile field added, puts an image under your avatar with a link to your SoundClick page, can be edited here (http://www.crazypellas.net/edit-profile/),
If there are any other popular sites that you use to host your music on and would like a profile field added like the SoundClick/MySpace one's we already have then let me know, either by replying to this newsletter or by posting a suggestion in the Feedback/Suggestions forum (http://www.crazypellas.net/feedback-suggestions-85/).

2. Site News/Updates forum has been renamed to Crazy Pellas.

3. The Rules, Disclaimer, FAQ & Privacy Policy category has been removed and the Rules, Disclaimer, FAQ & Privacy Policy forum has been made a forum under the Crazy Pellas category.

4. Elite Artists Usergroup/Forums created
Read this post (Respected/Elite Artists Usergroup/Forums created) for the benefits of being an Elite Artist
Read this post (How 2 become an Elite Artist) for details on how to become an Elite Artist

5. There have been a few changes to the contest forums
1. The contest forum has been moved to the Crazy Pellas category under the News & Updates forum
2. A new contest forum has been made to accomodate the new contest coming soon and to accomodate discussions of contests on this site, this new forum is Contest Discussions/Sign Up Threads (http://www.crazypellas.net/contest-d...p-threads-136/).
3. The Remix Contest forum and the Graphic contest forum have been removed from the index page, these forums have just been removed from display not deleted completely.

6. The beats & remix contest has started... more info below...

7. We have started a forum for a Crazy Pellas Mixtape (http://www.crazypellas.net/cp-mixtape-139/), more info can be found on it here (http://www.crazypellas.net/cp-mixtap...e-info-13509/).
We know there has been plans on having Crazy Pellas mixtapes i that past that have fallen through, but this time IT WILL HAPPEN, providing we get enough submissions and people interested :), if you would like to make any suggestions on how to go about putting the mixtape together post in this thread (http://www.crazypellas.net/cp-mixtap...-think-13776/).

8. New forum Advice (http://www.crazypellas.net/advice-142/), straight from the description 'Need personal, business, music or advice on anything in general, this is the place to come.'.

9. A donation box has been added, see this thread (http://www.crazypellas.net/news-and-.../donate-13463/) for more details...

More info on the beats and remix contest, the first round of the beats and remix contest has ended, we are just waiting for the staff to vote for a winner of each 'battle' then round 2 will be setup :)...

More info on why we are looking for donations (just incase you haven't read this thread (http://www.crazypellas.net/news-and-.../donate-13463/). We are looking for donations so we can upgrade to a dedicated server, where file uploading would be enabled (no more download limits/timers), and the site would be faster and have less downtime/errors.
Those who do donate will be offered Promotion of a mixtape/album/website or anything they want promoted on the forums, not just a sticky, a 468x60 banner placed in a placed where it will be seen, if you do not have anything you want promoted at the current time, the offer is still open to you until you have something you want promoted :).
The ads that are on the site at the moment are paying for the current server, any extra money after paying for the current server will be put towards the new server, I will add it to the Total Donations Recieved line although it's not really a donation...
We have had quite a few donations so far which I am pleased about :).

If you are donating PM me (http://www.crazypellas.net/send-new-pm-1/) with the email address the PayPal donation came through...

Donations do not have to be of a large amount, as I said in that thread 'if 2,268 members donated $1 each we would have enouugh for the server' :)

I think that's all that needs to be covered this month...

im not really into selling beats yet, but we could have a "cp beat fundraiser" for producers who sell beats. i dont really think im at a stage of selling beats but would be willing to sell rights to my beats for cp's sake

maybe i'll think of setting something like that up :)
