Sorry for the frequent downtime we've been having, I have been trying to resolve this issue with our host.

They have said it is a possible Hard Drive issue, they are going to look into that...

this is what I've got back from them now

lol yeah... basically they have installed a script to see what is causing the server load to go high, which is what is causing the site to go down, and it logs the server load and status to a file every five minutes.

Even when the site goes down, I still have access to the server... not the site tho

heard back from them again... they said it's due to high MySQL usage of the database powering this forum :\, so I need to find a way to optimize the database/code to stop it from going down.. or get a separate server for the database which isn't affordable ....

This should be completely sorted now and the site may be a little faster, I optimized the server with help from people over at vBulletin.com
