Going to be down for a while...

Just got this email from our host, to summarize it, basically they have 2 data centers which isn't convenient for them so they are going to be moving the dedicated servers to the other data center...

I just need to tell them when, I've not figured out the best time yet, but I'll update here when I have

Although the pricing will increase slightly, we will be maintaining the same price as you are paying now for your server, so in effect nothing will change for you, apart from the fact that you will have a new server and it will be hosted at a different data center. Please get back to us as soon as possible and let us know when is the best time for us to move your server, and we will arrange this for you. Please note that this move will imply the change of IP addresses and your domain name(s) will need to have the nameservers changed too. If you had planned an upgrade or downgrade, then this would be a perfect time to do it. Please let us know if you have any special requests, so we can give you a new price quote (the prices and products on our site will be updated within the next week or so). of course you dont have 2, but is upgrading an option? and if you did upgrade, what would be some perks? just wondering,

it will be sad for cp to be down, lets hope its only for a day or 2 :thumbup1:

yeah,

There are upgrades available, but they come at a price lol... I am thinking of getting an extra Gig of RAM, which should make the site faster.. Disk Space isn't an issue so I don't need to get another drive (yet).

Hopefully it'll be less than a day... it should only be a day or 2 at most, if not I'll be wanting some free upgrades haha

they have it set at $25 setup fee and $30 a month... I'm going to see if I can get a one off payment tho...

good 2 know man, i thought dj'ing would die out,after my retirement and when i started being a producer, but cp has strenghten that,

i've been teaching, my young appretice and others that i've met and requested my help on cp,
