CrazyPellas.net Store (for you to sell your music)

I have been thinking a while about setting up a store for you to sell your music, a. woods had also suggested it so I have setup a trial one, just so I could see how it works, so I won't be providing a link to it quite yet

This is how it would work:
-You say a price you would like to sell your mixtape/album/beat e.t.c for, I would take a small percentage of the price to go towards the site. You could pay a small fee each month to get 100% of your selling price.
-When someone has purchased your mixtape/album/beat, I would then send you the agreed amount.

You would not know when someone has purchased your mixtape/album/beat, so you would have to trust me to send you the money when someone has purchased. I am not saying this as a warning, this is just so you know. I will send you money when someone has purchased your mixtape/album/beat.


Before I go working on the store more, I would like to know; how much people trust me/want me to go ahead with the store...

it would be PayPal, or I would write a check when $100 has been made by the individual if they preffered...

Why exacly?-just curious as to the reasoning behind this.

Also -would you put up written matterial for sale, ie. a fully scripted song(verses, chourus, et. all.)?

The reason for you not being able to know when something of yours has been purchased is because the store is not integrated with the forum, and it would take a hell of a lot of time (which I don't have) to get it integrated... I myself would prefer if it was integrated as well, but it's not possible at the moment...

I would if someone suggested a way to allow a preview of it without giving it all away... if u get what i mean?

I get what you mean, an I can see that that could be a problem, but by law if someone did steal it without payin, they would not get your signed agreement that they could have it, and could be sued for copyright infringment. In reality, to make this whole thing proper,(for selling music,ie. mixtape/album/beat,ect.) or writen, the seller would have to mail the buyer a signed document that states they transfer all rights to the "piece". As by law -as soon as you wright/create the work it is copyrighted to you the, the writer/creater, and you have to transfer thoes copyright's to the buyer of said work. At least thats my understanding of the law in north america.

for selling a beat and writings I would agree you about having the creator send a letter, but not exactly send a letter just an agreement between both parties...

While I would trust you I unno if it would blow up... how many people coming to a site to steal acapellas, instrums, singles, mixes, albums, and mixtapes actually going to pay for ametuer music?

it's worth a try, it's not costing me any more to do it... it may not necessarily be people from here who buy the music...

It could be a place that people have a link on their myspace too if they want to sell music off of there.
