CrazyPellas.net Mixtape Vol. 2 Ideas

I think the mixtape should be split into chapters.
For example songs 1-4 can be one genre, 5-8 a diff genre, 9-12 another genre and 13-16 the final genre.
And then put like "The _____ Chapter" with an intro or interlude or somethin.

I definately want in on this, i rap, any producers willing to work i'm listening. I have some other work i've done so i could provide that too.

I JUST THINK THIS IS A GREAT IDEA I WANNA PARTICIPATE SO IF U NEED BEATS OR SOME DESIGN SHIT FOR COVER OF TAPE OR SOME THIN LET ME KNOW ILL GET BUSY ON THAT.
I ALSO THINK THAT U CAN MAKE SOME SORT OF CONTEST OF IT FOR WHO COMES ON THE TAPE THAT WAY EVERYONE CAN VOTE 4 THE FAVORITE BEAT,RAP,DJ SCRATCH...
AND IM ALL FOR THE NO REMIX BEAT SJIT JUST SHOW EVERYONE THAT THERE IS MORE THEN SOME GOOD STEALING:p AND BAKE THEIR OWN BEATS.
ABOUT GENRE ... U CAN PUT UP SOME SORT OF VOTING THING FOR DIF GENRE/STYLE

yeah sounds like a good idea to have the members vote for what goes on it :thumbup1:

okay, heres an idea I just thought for a way to select which songs go onto the mixtape:

- You make a thread for applicants to post links to 2/3 of their best beats

(In each application they post there name, genre of songs, short description maybe)

- Then each week you put polls up on the front page like you do for the beat battles with a list of potential CP mixtape material with the top few voted getting to be on the tape. Have maybe 10-20 up each week since i expected there will be alot of instrumentals to seep through.

- Once the beats are verified to be the ones that are going to be on the tape, the process of finding rappers to match the beats begin, each instrumental has a sub thread with only replies of mc's posting their download links of the version they have made. Once a good number of versions are made (have a deadline for versions), have polls every 2-3 days for the best version of each song.

- If like me you prefer working with a rapper you alredy collaborate with on the outside - there can be a separate system where people straight post up the final versions of the song to have feedback in a set thread.

Hmm, good point dj erick, but 4 me, it dont matter who i work with, i preffer people dat at least have some understanding about beats tho, Buckz said he would love 2 work with me. And a couple of da homies on cp. have also asked 2 work with me

But nothing is deffenite, But if we trully are going 2 do it like dat, i would love 2 contribute & make a dope track with any1.

ok,ur stating da obvious da me and cp are saying but just in a different way,

heres what i think we should do

release one blend/remix tape to create buzz
than do a producer/mc collabo tape a little after and try to get that blown up

it could get really popular, and if it does, for the next one we might even be able to sell it for funds for the server or some shit.
