Backup Finally

The site was down for 3 days or so, the host said that a script was compromising the networks integrity. Which I don't believe as I keep every script up-to-date.

I've asked them specifically how a script was, and I'm waiting for a reply to that...

Our track record has been pretty good, since 2004 the uptime here has been exelent.

to make sure it dont happen again, a 1 dollar donation towards the server will kill the chances of another downtime

I know that I am going to pay 50 more dollars to the server, I just need to make sure none of my cheques bounce for all my bills, and once I know the leaches got there money from me, imma donate that

They replied to my support ticket asking how exactly a script was and they said

I would also have suspended the account if that was happening on my network, as 30000+ UDP packets a second is an extremely large amount.
I've asked them for the logs of the flood but they said it isn't logged so I could have a look and possibly figure out what sent them, but I can't do that cos it wasn't logged

. I hope whatever it was has stopped sending that large amount or we will be suspended again

lol, they said no packet floods have been sent since they unsuspended the account, so i guess whatever it was has stopped

Multiple things could cause it such as a script/program which has not been ended properly, or has a vulnerability, or some script kiddie using a UDP Flooder script to flood the network...
