(AP) MALIBU, Calif. Police are looking for the driver of a red Ferrari Enzo that was totaled in a high-speed crash Tuesday on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

Investigators say the driver lost control of the pricey automobile at a high speed and the vehicle disintegrated after striking a power pole.

A man who told authorities he was riding in the car survived the crash with only a cut lip. He said the driver ran into the nearby hills.

The car, which sells for between $600,000 and $1 million, was destroyed, with its engine coming to rest on the highway and its wreckage scattered for hundreds of yards. But authorities say its air bags deployed and protected the man found with the car.

A three-hour foot and helicopter search failed to turn up anyone connected to the car.

haha.. who's car was it? if it's his or rented, they shouldn't have a prob finding him, his best bet is if it he stole it... but probably gonna put them csi's on the case, you know left some evidence of himslef after a crash like that... the power pole will be like another $10 000 too..
