    Hey guys,

    can some one point me in the right direction of a decent but on a small budget microphone for home recording, and also how would i get the best sound quality as i do not have a recording booth as it is in a bedroom,

    Finally what software would i need to record my vocal i have FL Studio, Audacity and Wavelab or do i need a different prgramme all together,

    For a quality mic for a low price, I'd recommend you the Audio Technica AT 2050. It's what I use when I record people and It has a great sound to it if you use a good interface/amp. As for Software, I don't see a problem with using programs like Cool Edit Pro, but I'd personally recommend using something like Cubase or even ProTools if you can to use .
